The question for this assignment is, why does a temperate zone support many varieties of organisms? According to the text, temperate zones of ecosystems support varieties of organisms. The reason many varieties of organisms survive is, because "organisms can only thrive where their needs are being met." (paragraph 2). "Temperate zones are an area where it never gets too cold or hot for organisms to survive." (paragraph 2, last sentence).
I believe many organisms can live in temperate zones, because the weather never becomes too extreme to survive the cold of winter and heat of summer in those areas. These temperate areas are comfortable and supports life.
