As January comes to a close, it's time to share once again. What have you been learning about in the last few weeks? Have you completed any cool lessons in math, language, reading, art, science or history?

In Science I've learned about how animals live and where they get shelter. I've learned about trees,for squirrels and birds. Ponds that fish live in and.. frogs and.. ducks and flierfly and beaver and duckweed grows there. In caves bears live and none eyed fishes and salamanders, spiders live in there and a bat too.

I learned some geometry in math. I learned about polygons, hexagons, octagons and that kind of stuff!

I am learning about different Ecosystems and the different plants and animals that live there.

I have learning how to
count to a thousand and my mom and me went to the center of the earth.

I read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It was an interesting story. I'm not sure I liked it that much. But it was fun to read it since it's a classic.

I learned about cells. There are three parts, the cell membrane, the nucleus, and the cytoplasm.

This month I learned Fraction Story Problems in math.

I learned how to add and subtract using a number line in Math.

I liked learning all the new things in math. I finished my math and got to move to the next grade. I LOVE MATH!

I learned about the Declaration Of Independents. I learned that John Hancock was the first man to sign the Declaration Of Independents. Also there is an expression..... If someone wants you to put your signature on a paper they could also say, "Put your John Hancock right here." I thought that was very cool! :D

I learned more about Egypt I love it! And most of it was math facts, it's one I don't really like. I learned about matter in science. My favorite solid is ice, I love to suck on it. My favorite liquid is Knudson Apple Juice. My favorite type of gas is the green smoke bomb from 4th of July!

in art i have learned how settlers in America decorated their new homes with art. they painted landscapes, they painted portraits of people they knew, they painted fancy lettering and designs on their furniture. and young girls showed their fine embroidery in pictures called samplers.

I learned about different measurements of liquid. I learned the amount of a cup, a pint, a quart and a gallon.

I practiced counting above 100. I get upto 130 before I miss a number.
Also, I learned about subtracting numbers.
